We have updated the following operational guidelines as policies during an inclement weather:
In the event of extreme weather conditions or other environmental situations that develop prior to the beginning of the day, it may be necessary to close the operations of Child Care.
In such situations, where Peel District School Board closes their schools or offices, or cancels their bus service, Busy Bees Child Care will also be closed for its operations.
These situations are rare, and in such cases, all staff and parents will be informed through email or the Lillio messaging platform as and when the information is available.
This policy is drafted keeping in mind the wellbeing and safety of children as well as staff. Unsafe driving conditions could pose a safety risk for parents and staff.
There will be no refund of fees or adjustment of days, as operating costs continue to be incurred.
